Didn't have a thought of racing anywhere this weekend. I woke up at 5am Sunday morning with my first thought being "lets go racing" I made a post on facebook that I was gonna go to Indy for a Bracket race. I made the first time run and when I came back to my pit spot I had visitors waiting on me. A dear old friend from childhood read my facebook post and came out to see me race. Her name is Teresa and her husbands name is Rusty Glidden. Very cool enjoying the day with them.

It sure was cold yesterday...however, I did squeak out a new best when the car hooked. 6.83 @ 99.49 mph. Which car were you in? The only Mopar I didn't recognize was a light colored GTX...was that you?
The car count was really low yesterday.
67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....

Yup, that's the one! Nice car by the way  . Yeah, Jason (young Whisman) was doing well yesterday. I think he got down to 5 cars. Did you hear over the PA they asked everyone to come over an congratulate all of the local Mopar racers, because we were the only one's that DIDN'T oil down the track at Monster Mopar Weekend...that was funny...and embarrassing (being a Mopar guy), all at the same time.

Glad to know that - I will have a word with Mike (the Indy announcer) about that comment when I am over there this weekend! May even kick him out of the tower for a few hours as punishment! lol
