I'm looking for some casting details on original suspension parts, mainly upper and lower ball joints, pitman and idler arms, and tie rod ends. Please post clear pics of your originals if casting numbers and details are still visible. Idealy for a 71 front disc brake car.

It is VERY nice but 72's had quite a few detail varibles compared to the 71's I've looked at.

In particular, I have dissasembled 3 sets of original KH disc brake assemblies, I bought all 3 as ancient greasey relics still all bolted together with grime and rust. One is from a reliable low mile car that PROBABLY had it's original ball joints, but I can't be 100% sure, the other 3 looked so old that they PROBABLY are original as well but I have no real evidence. The more reliable history pair have lower ball joints with "made in Canada" cast into the arm. Another set I have has "Made in USA", and the 3rd set has niether, just a number and LH/RH castings. So which ones, or which one(s) are correct?

You should have asked this question a few months ago...I'll see what parts I still have on Wed and let you know.

Remember what I said about not throwing away used original parts regardless of condition? Taking TONS of pictures of every square inch before disassembly?
