Does anyone know if there is a dual exhaust kit available for a 1972 Barracuda with the 318. It has the stock cast iron manifolds which I would like to keep. This is a street only car and I'd like to keep it fairly quiet.I could most likely use the pipes and mufflers from the single exhaust system on both sides but I would need pipes to connect them to the exhaust manifolds.I'm sure a good muffler shop could do this but I thought there might be a kit out there. You'll most likely be adapting a 340 system to your manifolds, it's

probably better to take it to a good muffler shop and have them

bend a set for you.

I purchased a dual exhaust system from Summit and adapted the factory y-pipe, was fairly easy to do if you have a welder.

For what they charge around here for a "custom bent system", you can buy a cheap welder and the dual exhaust kit and still have money left over.

Local here in New England you are looking at $500 for a dual system with crappy pipes that will rot out in a year or two, junk mufflers and bad crimpy bends.

Accurate exhaust makes 318 dual exhaust kits. I bought one for my Challenger. They'll ask you for the manifold part #s when you order. You can get the systems with or without resonators.

Jegs has some pretty nice systems for the money. I used their A-body on on my M-body Gran Fury. Here is their system for your car. I am sure you could get the down pipes from any local shop.
