FWIW, Jules did my wiper rod assy, wiper motor, heater box, vent box and steering column...and I am very happy with the results.

Had my customer send his wiper motor and worn out linkage / pivots to Jules from his 70 Road Runner. Kim has also done work for me in the past. Both reputable and will always help if you have an issue, John.

Never sent anything to Jules but when time comes I will. I called him once asking about some mounting bushings and where my customer could get them. He hooked us up at a far to reasonable price! Very stand up guy!

That is the biggest slap in the face I have ever seen here on this board!
You have no class. There were more diplomatic ways to ask that question.

My first thought was, Rah Roo, Jules isn't feeling well, which after checking, isn't the case. The question simply could have been asked, "Who restores wiper motors?", without it turning into the Cola Wars. Jules and Kim and I'm sure others out there do fine work. Simply choose who's deal and service works the best for you.

Jim

Just keep in mind who the original poster in this thread was if you ever need any metal polishing..... And don't use him....

Better yeah start a thread titled Who polishes metal besides MCB & see if he responds with good helpful information....

Every part I have ever sent to Jules (wiper motors, latches, springs, steering columns, etc.) have either met or exceeded all of my expectations. Why go elsewhere?

Just because sometimes I have to take an extra poke.... I find it funny/telling/surprising that a little over a year ago Mat (the original poster) started a thread to introduce himself over at Cuda-Challenger.com.... The second poster in the thread mentioned that he was owed money & parts & for some reason rather than defend himself or standing up & taking care of past mistakes Mat disappeared from CC.com.....

I couldn't agree more wow... As far as I'm concerned Jules is my guy for parts needing attention to details and I wouldn't consider another restorer since Jules is the best not only with quality but with customers/people in general. Now who does carb resto's other then Scott Smith at Harms ?? Just a joke, I hold Scott up on the same pedelstal.

I suppose one could use someone other than Jules, but why?

Not only is he a top restorer and great guy, but he continues to raise the bar on his work as new discoveries are made in the restoration hobby. Plus his prices are more than fair especially considering the quality of the work.

My latest batch of parts returned are simply outstanding - they should almost be framed in a velvet display case.

Guys thank you very much for everything.
I appreciate the friendship and business from all of you.
This post is heading no where and is non constructive.
To everyone restoring anything, do your homework, get references,
ask for pictures and details about what is done to your part.
Do comparisons between apples and apples and then decide.
You will have much better chances that you will be pleased with the results.
Jules
