I need a low-rise Dual 4bbl intake for a 440. Anyone know where I get one. I've looked all over the net and can't find anything but hi-rise. I have a 72 RoadRunner that has a tunnel ram and 2/4bbls and I want to stick with the 2/4bbls but I want to use a stock hood. So I need to go low-rise.

If you need something super low, there's always those factory dual quad intakes that show up on ebay from time-to-time. They look like flow would be ridiculously poor though.

Offy probably still makes a 4X2 single plane.

I ran the eddy piece previously mentioned on my 74' 440 RR...looked good, ran great...don't run it progressive and use the kit in the intake kit....

I would love to see someone dyno that offy versus the eddy dual quad versus the eddy rpm intake all on say a 500hp street/strip 440. That offy looks cool, but also sure looks like it flows like crap compared to more modern intakes.

I have a single 383 Offy. The runners are about as long as my middle finger. They look really similar.

They are a favorite of guys building a blower motor.

If you run the Edelbrock you'll have to play with air cleaners to get one that is low enough to fit under that hood. I'd suggest something very similar to a Hemi intake. I'm pulling well over 500hp with my 2X4 setup on a stroker. I went with a sixpack hood to clear the Aircleaner.

Agreed. That Offy's runners look very similar to the factory 413 DQ intake I have. Very flat shape.

Sorry Wvmarv, mine's not for sale, I'm going to be using it in an EFI setup. Keep your chin up, they are hard to find but you'll find one eventually.

One thing to watch: the OEM intakes are about 7 1/8" center-center on the carbs, the Eddy manifolds are 6 7/16". This can be a PITA if trying to mix/match a 1-piece aircleaner.

Parts I seek: driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set 16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better. 69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields Send a PM.
