I know a lot of guys are going to Norwalk, and I respect that, but we are throwing a Nostalgia Super Stock gamblers race at Pittsburgh on Sept 15, in conjunction with the PID/Keystone Reunion.

Car must be full sized US Built Sedan or Hardtop 1971 or older. Full sized only, no small blocks, all big iron. Cars must be period correct in appearance, no chassis cars. Hood scoop must be period correct, no Pro Stock style scoops. Exceptions will be 68 Hemi Darts & Cudas, 68 Cobra Jet Mustangs, 390 "package" AMX.

Cars must dial 12.90 or quicker. .500 Full Tree, Handicap Start, no deep staging. Drivers select in tenth second (0.10) intervals after qualifying. Bracket racing aids such as optical sensors, delay boxes, stutter boxes, and throttle stops are not allowed.
Dial-in can be changed after eliminations have started, but must remain with a zero on the end, up or down a tenth.

This is a fun eliminator, gambler’s race, trophies to the winner & runner up. Loosely based on 422 All Stars and accepted Nostalgia Super Stock rules. No racing for blood, just having fun at the Reunion. These NSS events are very successful, it’s going to be a long winter.

Anyone interested, even if you might come, are thinking about it, send me, Kyle, or Ronnie a PM, and I can get you on the list. We’re getting a big break on entry.

Looks like a great event but ----- Norwalk is where I will be next week and Indy the week after. Any other time and I would be there in a heart beat!!!!! Let me know if you are doing something like this again next year and if they are not the same weekend as some of the Mopar events I will attend!

What is the exception for '68 Hemi Darts etc? Can they be full tube chassis, any hood scoop, all electronics etc?

How about a plain Jane '69 Dart with a big block wedge, back half, ladder bar car, running alky in a Ron's old fashion injection?

And I didn't see any entry fee and payout structure on the flyer?

Jim, it's a fun race....a gamblers. Free entry into the track, gambler's race for whatever gets thrown into the hat.

No alcohol or injection, sorry. The exception is the 68 Hemi Darts and Cuda SS cars, or clones. Pretty much limited to Nostalgia SS cars.

Thanks for the inquiry.
