once again the summer is ending, seems like only a few weeks since last time I wrote this... our finals were hold under pretty lousy conditions , cold and rainy, the track crew managed to keep the track in good shape and we saw a lot of new records and personal bests I qualified 4 th with a 8.76 and and got a new pb 8.69 in sunday eliminations after the turbocars eliminated them selfs I found myself in the final against a 8.9 sec buick, we all know who would have won that one... well of course the final was canceled for bad weather

Will you run the finals at a later date ?
I don t think so, days are getting shorter here and it would be pure luck to get a weekend with good weather,
maybe we can go snowmobile racing in december

We were there too, qualified 3. but went out in the third round because the car had too aggressive chassis tune up and was pretty much undriveable. Ck was third in national points, we were fourth. Should have advanced to final to catch Ck, but didn't happen this time. Congratulations for the bronze medal! Got the engine running well only for the two last races and didn't get the chassis sorted out. However, the direction in the finals was good and I think next summer we'll see better performance. Made our new best speed though, 175.7 mph against the limiter and run 7.95 lifting two times, once at about 60 ft and once when shifting from first to second.

Heads up, must be able to pass inspection , in the engine department anything goes except nitrous, that is forbidden in street driven vehicles here usually we have been divided in sub classes depending on engine volume, but since car count has been low the past 2-3 years, they have put us all in the same class, so now we have 1,6 toyotas and 600 cid chevys in the same class and surprisingly it works I was against it at first but it works really well, there are a few like jyrki s car that are a little faster but they are not so consistent my car is not the quickest but in both races I participated in this year I managed to get to the final, I won one and the other was as you know canceled, that shows that you don t have to be smart if you are lucky
