Yes it is, what your looking at is a new one, but my original stick is hanging on the wall.

Cars with buckets with console had the short one. It used a different mounting points on the transmission.

71 bench seat and buckets with buddy seat use a medium pistol grip and a short tunnel

Buckets seats with a console or not uses a short pistol grip and same tunnel as a E-body

Thanks for asking. After I finished assembling the car last July, when it came time to start it, it would not run correctly. In the end I had to have the carbs completely rebuilt again over the winter. This has put me back almost a year. I had to wait for the right guy to fix the work the original guy did. Basically the carbs looked good but they were not functional. Then the car got stuck in the guy's garage because of the snow last winter. I just got it back home last week. Hoping to get it finished onver the next couple months. Anyhow here are some pictures after assembly last year. I have to get the car aligned, put the stripes/decals on and undercoat the wheelwells.

By those pictures I'm in the ballpark, I was going to have the disc shields powder coated Gloss Black or is Low Gloss more correct?

Also where did you get the anti rattle clips and hardware?
I have to order calipers and the clips next.

I'm going to Black Phosphate the bolts for the sliders etc...

Lastly the idler arm I took off (it wasn't original but super old) had a curve to it but the new Moog K7041 was straight and thought that was strange. Mine is a Power Steering car.
Thanks Ron

Ron, I matched what original paint was still left on my dust shields to the samples the powder had on hand. It was a low gloss black. Probably was low quality gloss when new, but that's a tough environment. All of the lower control arms I have owned (including NOS), the cosmolene dipline is closer to the top rivet. Either way, nice job! And GYgeneral, your runner is looking great!

I have a picture saved from years ago with the dip line like I have it so I always followed that, if you were a day sooner I would have moved it up!!! OK so low Gloss Black it will be, I sent you a PM before and after the board changes did you get either??

What about my idler arm question can you or GYgeneral answer that for me?
Thanks again
Ron
