Vern,

Those and the Magna-Fuel pumps are so worth the money.

Well what it cost for me to buy fittings and line to put my other blue pump on. I buy a new pump for less.

I ran that pump before I went to the Magnafuel 300 pump and it lacked my needed volume BUT, I did bypass it back to the cell w/a 1/2 inch line which may have not been a good idea from what I`ve heard.........I can`t speek highly enuff about my pump and how well it works street/strip so far.........

I ran that pump for 4yrs. no problems at all. switched to magnafuel 300 pump with return and big regulator, no performance increase what so ever. as long as the pump is wired and plumbed correctly should be trouble free

I run that pump myself, had it on for I think 4 years, no problems, mine is deadheaded, I have a fuel pressure gauge and it show 7 pounds all the way thru the 1/4, it flows enough to run really low 10's for sure, and I belive quite a bit lower than that, allways seemed to me a lot of people go overkill on fuel pumps. Im feeding two edelbrook 800 cfm, and have also used the pump running two 750 Demons, didnt have a fuel issue with either setup.

As I said, was told they work ok w/a return but have more available volume deadheaded and this proves that point. I finally after many years of racing stepped up and got an "overkill" system and my et`s dropped and mph went up..............the $$$ difference bet. the Mallorys and holley blues and blacks isn`t THAT bad in my opinion and I have zero regrets. I too had 7 lbs. on my gauge but obviously had a "volume" issue having to jet up 8+ sizes just to get the a/f out of the death zone............not any more, now I`m leaning it down and TRYING to level out my fuel curve.

I keep forgetting to ask this, but do you have a transbrake, or are you still footbraking it, Jim?

Are we talking the EXACT same pump or the 1000-2000 series? Maybe I got a weak pump but I had to jet WAY up the get the fastest et and best a/f ratio at wot............ Now I`m leaning the carb down and working on the overly rich cruise circuit and it`s getting better and smoother. Yes Sledgie, some are faster than me w/their BIG motors and heads etc.........Little 470 w/crap heads and a medium cam and it`s full potential will be seen in Nov. w/WAY quicket et`s to follow...........TRUST ME! If I had your motor in my car(providing your junk`s hooked up properly) I`d be ashamed to run any slower than 9.40`s n/a in street trim........

was just funnin' with ya dom ! remember Im 200 pounds heavier so your 9.40's comment at your weight guess my junk don't suck at my weight then ... my junk is setup for nitrous maybe that's why it's so slow and best ET I had was with a 1.44 60ft

Not saying your slow at all just stating; If I had a big motor w/big heads and high-end parts I`d be haulin ass......and my time will come. Now, at my weight w/my crap heads I`m one of the fastest cars here and elsewhere for that matter................
