Looking for some radial front tires for my 32 highboy. I have 15 by 4 inch wide rims. Can get some 165-80-15, but really hate to use a Chinese tire, and can't find a USA made tire that size. Firestone sells a 195-65-15 that would look nice, but they suggest a 5 inch wide rim. What happens, if I mount them on a 4 inch rim? TIA

That's the size on the dart.

4" wheel with that tire. Side walls do bulge out a bit, Been on there for a few years now and have made hundreds of 1/4 mile passes, plus street miles.

Wish I would have went with the 195-65. I had already ordered the 165 Firestones from Coker. I thought I was getting a USA built tire, but when they come in, they had made in the Ukraine on the tire. Ugh!!!
