Is this speaker switch from anything Mopar like a dealer/factory added accessory or is it just a day-2 switch that someone found?

That's what I was thinking but didn't know if there was some kind of dealer installed option that had something like that?

The car also still has this (what I think is a correct "odd" size) left rear package shelf speaker with what look like OE trim screws. It reads DELUXE on it which is an old '50's - '60's term so I was thinking it's pretty old? It's not screwed into the factory screw holes but it still looks like a '70's style speaker IMO

They mounted them everywhere . Some under dash, some in the switch panel , some were near the vent controls just below dash pad .
The '68 Charger actually had theirs mounted in the radio bezel itsself .

DELUXE is typical of MOPAR speakers, the part number on your A12's speaker appears to be 35xxxxx, I'd "assume" it was added as a "rear speaker PACKAGE" at a later date.

There wasn't a toggle switch to the left of it that came along with that was there? The toggle switch for sure looks non-OE and maybe for doing something crazy like turning off the tail lights (this A12 road runner had a reputation of lots of street racing in the Youngstown, Ohio area "back in the day"

Just for fun, here is the 68 Charger radio bezel with fader bezel which actually overlaps the radio bezel .

Factory mounting locations were specific to model or dash, dealer would've/could've mounted them anywhere.

Inboard screw holes mounted the speaker, the outboard holes are for the speaker grill "cover" that came in the "rear speaker PACKAGE".

Here's a speaker & grill pic, also newer than the muscle car years.

I have this antenna bezel on the back right rear fender, on this Y4 Spanish Gold A12 rr coupe. It almost looks like a power antenna bezel but don't think it could be. A photo circa 1971 shows the rear antenna extended.....but could that dash toggle switch be the power antenna switch....

"Factory mounting locations were specific to model or dash, dealer would've/could've mounted them anywhere"

That's what I meant . The correct factory locations were all over the place. In other words, a 68 rally dash Dodge is in one location, a '69 Rallye dash in another location, a non rally plymouth in another location, etc. etc. I can think of at least 5 diffrent factory loaction for the 68-70 B body fader switch depending on model / year etc.
