That's a wild hauler and car is cool!

Yes it's a SAAB 900 Turbo.
We don't have so many options over here, it's far better then an open trailer and I can't afford a a big rig or have a licens to do it.
It works good

Cool! is that tow vehicle a custom build, or do they come that way? it looks like that "fat" E-body is bending that Saab in half!

I saw a similar hauler done over here for a drag bike ........ he used an Olds Toronado and turned the back into a pick up with dual axles.
I'm just not that creative , but I know cool when I see it.

It's a custom built car, they are hard to find and expensive to buy.

No Saab 900 diesels its a gas motor I bet. I thought it was weird till I saw he was in Sweden, then it made complete sense.

How far do you travel for races? I remember that car....

It's just a ramp bed on it, I hired one in 2003 when I won the Scandinavian championship with the Challenger and I got hocked on this type of SAAB.
I will race at Kjula this weekend and in 2 weeks the European nats in Tierp.
We go all over Sweden and can be 160 miles up to 1500 miles in a weekend.
My wife drives the other car with a caravan so we have some where to live :-)

Mr. sixpack does that car still have the narrowed gas tank in it or does it have fuel sell now? I narrowed the stock tank for Paul way back when.

If i could pick any car that's ever raced over here, i would pick yours.

That car would always go straight up..

There were rumors that the car was retired because it was not legal.. (too light in the front end)..

Are you giving us a SAAB story??

No the gas tank is long gone, think it got a fuel cell in England when they raced Super Gas.
And the owner before me threw the original headers in the dumpster

When I had my home built engine with a std block it was 48% front and 52% rear so yes it was light in the nose

Now with the World block I don't know what it will be, maybe 50/50% ?

Now I'm starting to feel nervous

I have done so many changes to the car that I don't know how it will go, no cutting or any thing like that. Just lowered it and new shocks and so on. It had shocks from the 1970ths so I just had to update to Afco's

When I'm done with this weekend I'll get back and tell how it woked and answere all my PM's. Right now I can't think straight

how did it go? saw the car in the pit area at kjula but never saw you go down the track,only went down to kjula on saturday and not the whole day so i wasnt there as long as i had wanted.
