No repops, I am assuming you mean the plastic/tin lock strip? You can get a Ferd part that is a little narrower but fits in the channel of the original gaskets. The only other way to fix it is to get a complete set of 68-69 stainless but you will also need the gasket and clips.


The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Yes Jim it is the plastic inserts. Should of said that before. My bad. With that being said. Do they repop the stainles for the 68/69 style? Or what year ferd style are you thinking?

No repops for the stainless either. I wish I could find the part number I have around here for the Ferd part, but it was for a pick-up truck if I remember correctly, it comes in a roll.

Somebody does, I am pretty sure I have seen it on the 'bay.
It probably will shrink just like the original tho.
If keeping it original isn't the goal, the best way is the 68-69 stuff, good used, and don't forget to install the moulding clips before installing the glass!


It takes gasoline to interest me.
