If we have more than 32 cars it will be an all run and we will ladder at 32
You can not dial more than .100 slower than the slowest car in the class

Call it "Big Dog" if you like, but hardly a "Quick" race with a 8.99 bump.

Turns out Wayne, no matter how much money you put up....no one wants to build fast enough cars....

If the class comes back around and we can fill the 32 car field with fast cars...then we can adjust. But its either we race the way it can support itself, or we can all race superpro....

I would rather have kept it top dragster and top sportsman both 5k to win, but the cars just arent out there to fill the fields... and getting

I don't mind the 8.99 bump so much but at least keep it a 32 car field and on a sportmans ladder from the start. And what about the cars going faster than 7.50 do we need a 1500.00 3 2/A15 suit and a 600.00 hans device, if so me and Kelly are out. I am not going buy this stuff for one or two races a year. Everything else we run is 1/8 mile so if we stay under 4.50 all is good.

Will we be aloud to run throttle stops to stay above 7.50? if not Im not spending 1200.00 on a suit, 600.00 on a hans and 250.00 to enter to race for 5000.00.

I dont care what some people say the class will lose 6 cars I know of because of the 7.50 rule on safety equipment.There is only a couple of guys that have that stuff know.

maybe next year but 2000.00 to race at indy is not in my budget for 2012.

You already know I'm not going to be there do to a new family member showing up. Mc kellar is welcome to use my car to run indy but I don't think he will put up the cabbage for the safety equipment for the 7.50 rule either.

You know me I will help in any way I can and am not bitching its just the facts that 7.50 rule sucks.

I dont care about filling the field to me the 32 fastest cars there is cool and dont give a $hit about a bump.I know you need to make money thats a given. I vote 1/8 this year and give everyone a chance to save up for the equipment they need for the quarter for next year!

Its not an easy situation for me to be in either.

I really thought splitting the class completely like we did in St Louis was going to give everyone what they needed.... but it didnt. We had more quick cars in Indy. Now I understand that Indy is an easier venue to get to for a larger group of racers....but we have to support this as a group, or we will be left running the other junk races that are out there

I will support this make no mistake and again full fields of 32 cars is as important as anything.Fill the field with who ever is there it makes no difference to me if I run a 4.60 car or a 5.80 car My $hit will be there.

My question is can I run a t-stop so I can stay above 7.50 to get around the 32a/15 and hans rule?????

I don't care if its 1/4 or 1/8 but I need to know how I am going to run my deal so I can pass tech.If its going to be 1/4 I need to slow up my car 1/2 a second and a t-stop the only way to do that with out being a sitting duck.
