Have several of those as well but I like the grease to stay in the container. Sometimes it breaks the bottom out and you have a mess.

lay a circle of 1/2" plywood on the bottom of the bucket and it wont break out.

Buy a third memember from strange or mark williams and it'll come in one. Or you can buy them separately from them.

I see no reason a 8 3/4 would not fit, although both of my spare 8 3/4 are laying on the floor of my basement at home. So I don't know for sure.

I've had them in buckets in the past but the buckets don't last and crack, more trouble than there worth imo.
And todays buckets with plastic handle are crap, total junk. Luckly I have a friend who is in the restarant business and gives me stacks of buckets and the lastest ones with plastic handles are pure junk.

My race stuff is at work at my race shop.
So I just now took a spare container home to see if it would fit my mopar pig.
My pigs weren't really on the floor, a bunch of other stuff was. lol.

It fit's but it's a little smaller than a 9". It could be made to work with a thin sheet of sheet metal as a adaptor plate. Or it even could be bolted down without one.

I have been through a few rear ends in my time and have 4 of these containers, sorry none are for sale. jAZ USED TO MAKE THEM, YOU KNOW THE FUEL CELL PEOPLE.

Thanks for the effort. I figured it would be a bit too small.

Check out what Jaz does make here:

Maybe there's something in there that you can use.

Long term storage or shipping; I put the center section in a plastic bag, seal it, put it in a 5 gallon bucket, use spray foam to fill the air space. The foam is easy enough to break off the plastic and will add protection during shipping and long term storage.
