I have new carped for my 71 Challenger that I won't be using, and my brother in law needs carpet for his 69 Dart. I know that they have different floors, but are they close enough that it might work. Has anyone here tried and failed, or tried and succeeded. My thought is it'll probably work good enough for a driver as long as the Dart is not to long for the Challenger carpet.

Really, no body's even tried it. That's probably not a good sign.

50 miles away, and it's not ready for the carpet yet. I was just wondering if I could save him from having to order some.

Carpets are cheap. Buy the right one for the car. It will fit better and be easier to install. Sell the E-body one to offset the cost.
