I am looking to add a limited slip to my 95 Dakota when I put gears in it.A friend says trac locs are weak and I should go to an auburn unit.
Any thoughts??Who makes the sure grip unit that mp sells for the 8.25?

Bear in mind this is a 3.9 5 speed with very minor mods done so it won't be stressed and don't know if it will ever see a drag radial.

I am tempted to go gears only and run one drag radial to see the embarassing times it is capable of.

Your quote is right about your friend.. Get a Tru Trac and have the best of 2 worlds. Acts like an open when going down the highway. Locks when power is applied for the fun times.

I am truckless..
