Hello, So i have a stockish rebuilt 383 & a abody 833 and correct bellhousing fot my 74 dart but thats it. Now before i go off and start looking/buying the wrong/right items i was wondering what would be a decent setup for the headers and linkage? Should i go hydraulic? This car will mainly be a street car with maybe 10-20% strip time. Just thought i would throw this out as i dont have any parts yet.

Thanks
Ryan

Check over at BBD, they have lots of tech info and pictures. I'm going the cheap route with Hedman B-body headers (78030) which are actually a good fit with only a few small dings.
Forget linkage though, go hydraulic. Trying to get a Z-bar in there would give M.C. Escher nightmares

On the other hand, with your mild 383, perhaps manifolds would be a better idea. Then you can go with the linkage instead of spending money on hydraulics and fabrication.
