for those u who need or will be doing an A/C upgrade or conversion from rv-2 ect to the sandens

here are a few web sites with the sanden A/C units

such as the SD508 and the SD7 (aka SHORTY )

http://www.sanden.com/index.html

http://www.freezonerb276.com/Clutch.htm

http://www.babcox.com/editorial/us/us4016.htm

http://www.blendair.net/test.html

http://www.autoaircompressors.com/sandencomp.htm

http://www.freezonerb276.com/Compressor.htm

http://www.compressor-intl.com/compressor1.htm

http://www.aircoparts.com/COMPRESSORS.html

this one is the best, u can look up all makes and it will tell u what compressor, hoe many groove pulleys ect.... so if u need to go to a bone yard u can look at different makes and get the compressor u need

well I do ac and I have some questions.

does it fit the stock RV2 brackets? Will the stock hoses fit? Is the pulley in the same place.

I'm not really happy about the job I did on my trailduster with the RV2 compressor but then again, I didnt change the expansion valve to a 134 one so that may have a lot to do with it.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

General Consensus is the 134 valve does no good.
