Ron Podsiadly,...	so B1Arno posted the Gasser wheels I really would love to have on my race truck and with the sale price on then I had to pull the trigger. So I gathered up all the scrap metal and cut up a big truck frame I had laying around and went to the metal scraper and got $300. toward the new wheels so for $107.00 I will now have the front wheels I always wanted Thank You Arno you made my week wheels should be here monday Ron... 7201998-Screenshot2012-05-11at12.49.04PM.png (83 downloads)

The regular price through Speedway Motors I think is $285 ea. plus for me would have been $32.00 shipping. So I saved right at $200. I could have bought them direct because the shop is about 45 minutes from my house. I see that they have lowered their price to $225. Even at that I would have spent $450 plus 9.5% and they would have cost me $493. I'm likin' $407. I'm thinking about calling Speedway to see if they can get me the 15x15 Five Window rear wheels for ETs listed price and take advantage of the $7 shipping. That would save me almost $100 in sales tax. Arno

I have never seen these wheels this cheap Ron... $407 is still a great price for those ! i don't have $300 worth of scrap saved up because i cashed in my junk in january to pay some doc bills. but still....... any idea how long the sale will last ? i s'pose i could look around & see if i got any "treasures" to unload to coff up some coin. are the "as cast" versions on sale too ? that's what i want for my humpback so i can paint 'em that greenish-grey weathered magnesium look. [ he,he...... you guys make me "greenish-grey" with envy ! ]

They only offer these wheels fully polished($450ea) ouch. or painted centers. Rocket does make some that are close to these but the spokes are a little wider and they offer them polished,painted or "as cast" but I like the ET wheels better. He has two magnesium spindle mount ten spokes and two five window 15x10 magnesium Halibrands. He was asking $2500 for the set. They were in perfect shape. Besides not being able to have front brakes and the rears not wide enough, I wanted those wheels! Arno

Thanks everyone I love the look of the truck so far. can't wait to get it up and running and make some passes I have been working on the roadster PU lately but hope to get back on both here soon. next on the race truck is to finish the firewall, the trans tunnel and the drive shaft area. and build the bed for the roadster PU and mount the rear coil overs . thanks again for all the reply's.
