What is the best way to remove the dash in my 69 Bee? Take the top 6 screws and 2 side bolts out first? or,... take the gauge clusters ,dash pads, glove box door, ash try etc. etc. ect, then remove the frame? Can this be done without removing the heater box? ,or.... should I take that out first?..Not sure what is the best sequence of disassembly here. I want to leave the steering column in after the dash is out to help with moving the car around to the media blaster, and body shop, and on / off the car trailer.
Thanks for any suggestions. HR 20.

Take the steering column out - the wheels can very easily be turned by hand when there's no weight in the car.

Unbolt the column and lower it .... or pull it out if you can't get enough room if doing the task alone .... pull out the dash and then raise the column back it , it doesn't bolt to the dash frame .
