A guy on here used a pencil laser pointer laid in the groove and used shims/flat washers to get his front to rear pulley alignment dead on. Also make sure the PS pump housing/pulley is parallel to the crank/wp pulleys

Factory Hemi will use a dual pulley on the alternator. I'm not sure though if the one he is using (A/C??) will have the same offset to match up with the repro pulleys.

I got an original? HEMI pulley and compared the belt depth with the pulley that came on the replacement alternator. The belt rides deeper in the groove on the original. Does the pulley press on and off like the p/s pulley?

The pulley can be swapped out with an original one (2095095). You do need a special fixture to remove it - don't try a generic puller. There are a few on eBay currently. eBay link to pulley

I'm running all original pulleys on my hemi with some Mopar brand fan belt I bought probably 15 years ago. My motor has seen 6K rpms many times now with no belt issues other than re-tightening after the initial stretch.

Jim, thanks for the tip. I think the pulley will do the trick.
