fiddlestix OP mopar F Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 466 Ohio	I am setting up a 493 stroker with a 1/2" pickup tube, a Milodon 30930 pan, girdle and windage tray. What is the recommended distance from the bottom of the pickup to the bottom of the pan? Thanks guys.

If so, I've heard everything from touching the bottom to 1/4" up. I put mine in just barely touching the bottom because it has a space between the guard and the screen. If there's no guard, around 1/4"-3/8" seems to be the average standard.
