At this price I start thinking "how much work do they need?" Has anyone installed a set of these yet?

considering how much work it takes to make one fit properly,
that is the price point they all should be sold at!
it also shows it can be sold at a profit
at 5 times less then the other companies rip us off for!
500% mark up crooks!

David at Roseville said he's selling Dii too now so maybe he has some more information on these and other Dii sheetmetal parts.

Actually, they have an honest write-up right under "Sheet Metal Policies" and it tells you what to expect:

30 day return policy and toll-free number.

Thanks for posting this, Cody. It looks like a good alternative to me.

I saw they have wheel opening moldings too... but never heard of the brand. They run 160 a set though, not sure it's worth the risk when they aren't much cheaper than other repops. I see they have a lot of other parts too but not nearly as cheap in comparison as the fenders. Of course when I check freight to pa, its more than a fender costs

Hmmm, it could have worked like this:

Company in the US decides to offer Challenger fenders, spends some R&D dollars with a a frim in China to make dies. Dies made, panels stamped then sent to US for fit. Panel doesn't fit, changes require the replacement of the die. Old die gets sold for scrap. New die is made, panels stamped, test fitted and everything is better. The US company now sells fenders at $599 to recoup their investment with some satisfactory return.

The company that bought dies for scrap looks and says "these can be used for something" and starts stamping out panels. Now remember, they paid very little for the tooling, did no R&D and now sell an inferior product. They undercut the original developer and sell them until the tooling is junk and cannot be used. The original developer gets POd and quits investing in reproduction parts.

Do I know this as fact? No. Has it happened before? Yep. I know at least one case where parts for a manufacturer were made using discarded patterns.

In any case, I bought workable used factory fenders. I'll probably just keep them instead of trying something that will frustrate me just as much after I paid for them.

If you go right to their website they cost $149.35.

Hmm I may buy 2 just for patch panels.

Quality is WAAAAAAY more important than the (initial) price IMO. These might be good...or not.

Pretty easy to spend twice the savings at bodywork time if they aren't good. Not sure how anyone can say the price is good or bad until they know what the quality is like.

My gut is telling me these are made from the same dies. It's how international trade law & contracts seem to work (or DON'T work).

I think those might be made from Dynacorn. They are that group that is making the complete Mustang and Camaro bodies. They were going to make complete Challenger bodies too, but last I looked at their website, they had almost all the body peice but it did not seem as though they were going to sell the assembled bodies. I called them once for Challenger pricing, but they work kinda weird. They do not sell direct, like AMD, but instead you got to call one of their distributors for pricing. I thought it was silly as I want to deal with the mother company. So I never got pricing and never heard of anyone using them. I thought it was a dumb business model.

Just order a manual mirror off of ebay for a 69 A body. Said DII and the box had dynacorn on it. So I am wondering if they are the same.

However I didnt see any panels on the dynacorn website.

Just FYI
