Excellent, thanks! I guess that is what is referred to as "crush" grain?

IIRC, it seems like there were two main convertible top repro manufactures. One is Kee: http://www.keeautotop.com/convertibletops.html The other might be Electron??: http://www.electrontop.com/I've heard people debate which is most accurate grain. Sorry, I just can't remember the outcomes. Legendary IIRC has great quality, but they just get them from one of those places.

The grain does not matter as much as the rear window. Most aftermarket tops you can get have plastic windows that are clear all the way down to the dutchman panel. There should be about 6" of material from the back window to the dutchman.
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Yes, I want a glass OEM style window. I have the OEM Chrysler rear glass now (rest of the top is shot), but the car is driver quality original 318 car and not necessary to retain the original Chrysler stenciled glass window. My OEM glass may later be for sale for those doing a correct restoration on a worthy Barracuda. But for driver durability and appearance, I want another glass window top. The little bit of research I have done says '67 had diamond pinpoint grain, while '68 + '69 had crush grain, all with glass rear windows.
