I was going to wait and detail/paint the engine bay and suspension, etc, later ... but thinking I may go for it and "do it once, do it right" (car is prepped for exterior paint as it sits). My question is : Is it easier to drop the K and all still mounted/attached out from under or just as easy to go "conventional" ? Either way I'll be removing the engine from the K frame for detail and new suspension parts, etc. thanks ...... 73 Roadrunner BTW

Being a '73 B-body, I'd drop it out the bottom. This way, you can also replace the K-frame bushings (mounts) while its out. Be sure to use plenty of PB Blaster on the K-frame bolts for a few days before the drop.

When you put the K back, get rid of the rubber setup and mount it solid using the aluminum spacers sold at Firm Feel.
