Does anyone have real world experience with ACC and Trim Parts carpet? I am interested in knowing which seems to be better. I know that ECS has the best but these cars are drivers and are budgeted as such. I need quite a few so I want to make an educated choice. Thank you in advance.

They may have been different at one time , but IIRC currently they are one in the same.

If you still have your old carpet look at the heel pad and ask them to send picture of exactly what they will send to you. I had this issue with year one who sells ACC's carpet. Tell them what you want, they will make it. I think Trim would more than likely be the same thing. If they are all about the same, use a coupon and get a discount from year one.

I sell Trim Parts carpet. I also have a Trim Parts carpet in my car. It's Dark Green and been there about 5 years, no fade, but it is always garaged.

I was happy with the carpet when I installed it, and chose it because I heard at the time ACC was having issues with their carpet fading. They may have resolved that now. I'm sure some other guys here can tell you their experiences.

I got a Trim carpet for my Barracuda by accident not knowing that the vendor did not have ACC and it was virtually unusable. It had no form to it at all and the threads per inch was terrible. You could easily see the backing. I could not get my money back because too much time had past. I tried to sell it cheap on Moparts and got zero interest. I went ahead and bought the ACC carpet and it fits and looks much better. I have always used ACC in my cars. I am sure you will be happier with it. The heel pad will be better and the fit will be better.

Try a carpet from Motorparts South I promise you will not be dissappointed!! When I installed this carpet it fit perfectly. It fit every contour in the floor pan with PLENTY of extra for trimming particulary up the firewall and I believe the cost was under $200.00.

Year one is blowing out carpet right now for $119.99. The code is CARPET12.

I've not used Year One, but have used ECS and was VERY happy with it. Not sure it's worth the extra money, but I can't complain about anything on the ECS carpet. Very correct right down to not having the grommet hole (like the original).
