Just wondering what everyones thoughts were of electric fuel pump vs. mechanical for this application. If I were to do electric, Id probably get a in-tank pump. 70Cuda383 Too Many Posts Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 21,345 Marysville, O-H-I-O	advantages are many, one not listed yet, is no more cranking the engine to prime the fuel bowls if the engine has been sitting for awhile. just let the pump run to fill the bowls. one disadvantage is that if you do not have your pressure set properly with a regulator, you can push fuel past the needle and seat, and you'll flood the engine, wash down cylinder walls and kill your rings. Photobucket sucks

Fury Fan master F Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 3,533 Indiana	OK, I'll bite - I've never heard anyone complain of a noisy mech pump. If using an electric, make sure to put some safety interlocks to shut it off in case of an accident.
