tried restoring my 14x6 road wheels , does the black look close or to glossy??

Here is a correctly restored Road Wheel.

IIRC the 14x5.5" "road" wheels had black hoops & the 14x6.0" "road" wheels had gray hoops.

Yes, the 6.0" versions came out in '71 for b-bodies with G70-14 tires, e-bodies used 5.5". Pretty sure f-bodies used the 6.0" wheel. Can you read the part number/dates by the valve stem?

this part number is on inside of rim by the valvestem???

Should be visible with the mounted tire. The '69 & (some '70?) are dated on the backside lip (still visible with tire mounted). 10-16-68 5.5"
