Hello MOPARTS!

I would appreciate any feedback / comments re a potential purchase I'm considering....

I'm looking at a 1964 dual point distributor for sale that my book says is for a 426 engine and the distributor numbers are Chrysler Part Number 2444335 and IBB 4202AS.

Will this distributor fit and work properly in a 1967, 440 HP block? I'm building a Max Wedge Clone motor for my 1964 Polara convertible, automatic transmission.

Thanks!

If you like dual point ignitions I had several 426 max Wedge motors with both the stock dual points and the Mallory flat cap dual points, the electronic ignitionss are way better ignitions, especially when it comes to hot starting The MSD race boxes are the best for starting

I appreciate your comments Mr. Cab.

I have a dual point in my 440-6 Pak Cuda and it's been just fine for me so I'm not afraid to use it in my '64 as long as it's compatible with the '67 block I'm using, and it sounds like it is. :-)

Thanks again!

Steve
