I've seen that chart before too. It indicates that all 4 speeds carpets ard black, even on GTX's. If that were correct, then every Road Runner or GTX with a colored 4 speed carpet would be wrong.
Anyone have an original carpet 4 speed car with colored carpet?

but unless you have a broadcast sheet with a different color other than black carpet or a showroom photo of the car and carpet or some remnant that you are absolutley sure is DNA original you should put a black carpet in. No sense IMO asking if anyone has a color other than black in a '69 4-speed even if they have the proof it was original to their car. Do you have color carpet in the car that you think might be original....have some photos. On the other hand it's your car and you can put any color that you want.....IMO I like color matching carpet and with more automatics being sold understand why they chose one color black for the 4-speed models
