Anyone have a number of how many were produced? Thats how our car breaksdown and a guy at the local drag strip said the color and motor combo was supposedly rare. I know they produced 8700 340 demons in 72 but how many were B3 blue?

While I don't consider the combination "RARE" a '72 340 Demon in "super blue" has to be one of the more desirable combinations.

I own one too. Its a somewhat common color, as there weren't that many high impact colors (limelight, purple, etc) for 72. Also one of the brochure cars was TB3 blue, which may have had something to do higher sales #'s. I'd guess the # to be several hundred if not thousands. Still a very desirable color, if I do say so myself.
