Hey All,

I need to buy a shroud for my 68 440 Charger but I'm confused. The standard part # P2785434 looks like this:

It has three mounting holes on one side, and two on the other.

My radiator has 4 mounting points in a square. It looks like it wants something like this:

But that pic is for a 22" shroud that requires a mounting kit.

The car was originally a 318, and had the 440 installed sometime back in the 1980's. The engine came from a '73 something, and I have no idea what the radiator is, except that it is 26" across the core.

Will the standard part # bolt up good enough even though all the holes won't match up? Or do I need something else?

Also - I was thinking about using the 30% off from YO for the shroud, which makes it $70+$30 shipping. Could I get it cheaper anywhere else?

Thanks!

The top one is the proper one for your car IF it had the correct radiator, it does not. In 1970 it changed the 4 bolt design similar to the bottom photo, that is the one you want to get to put on the radiator you have .

Thanks.

I was thinking maybe that whatever car from '73 donated the engine probably also donated the radiator.

Too bad for me the '70 up costs another $30 or so.....

Thanks again.

Edit - looks like its <$90 locally from Mancini or RosevilleMoparts.
