I'm currently running 295/50 15's on 15x10" rims and would like to go to a taller tire.

275/60R15 are supposed to be for up to 9.5" rims. Anyone have these mounted on 10" wide rims? I figure it's been done though. Hows look, buldge, and handling effected?

275/60 R15 is not recommended to be put on to a 10" rim. I have a friend that has them on his 10" wheels but they don't look right and I wouldn't trust them.

I've ran the 275x60x15 on 8.5 inch wide rims, also 295x65x15 on tens and 315x60x15 on both ten and twelve inch rims Wider rims will help plant the tire better, usually. They also make the section width wider I wouldn't hesitate to mount them and see if they will fit, if they fit use them

I have two cars with 275-60-15s.
One car has 8 inch wheels and the other has 10 inch. I like the 275 on a 10 inch wheel much better.
There is a small tire heads up class on the west coast called wild street, the only tire you can use is the 275 and all the cars use 10 inch rims.

According to this tire calculator, you should be good up to about 10.5". But if that is what the tire specs are from the manufacturer, you probably shouldn't go over it. You should be fine though.

I run them on 8" rims with zero problems and they look great.

I am currently running 295s on a ten inch rim. I would think they would look a little bit funny but if the beads seat without an extrordinary about of trouble, you should be okay as long as you're not exerting extreme stress on the side walls (i.e. auto crossing, etc.).

Tread width on most 275s is 9". Rule of thumb for rims is match the tread width, plus or minus 1 inch, so 10" is the upper end of the range. This will make the tire appear broader and eliminate some of the sidewall bulge you see on a 295 on a 10". You can do it but may need to juggle inflation pressure to get the tread face to make full contact to the road.

I just mounted 325/50-15's on the Cuda.. Got them to fit with no rubbing. I will try to post up some pic's. Used Dr Diff offset kit with original E-body rear with 15x9 weld draglites and 5.5 backspacing. 325/50/15 ET drag radial... Looks good.

So which rim width are you going with? BTW, them are not real high traction tires Don't be suprised if they spin easily How much motor HP and torque and what altitude are you running at?

They are going on 15x10"s. I'm at over 5000 feet. Straight out of the box no tuning with a 650 carb the car went high 13's in Vegas, but only 98mph and a 2.2 60ft.... I'll correct the issues it had, hence the taller tire. The W2 340 will follow I have all the parts except push rods and cam
