Hello, just curious if anyone is running the Hooker 5210 headers on their Hemi? Hows the fit/clearance? I talked to Arruzza today and he recommended them over TTI due to the equal tube length. Just wanted some more opinions on them before ordering. Thanks

I've ran them for over 30 years. Good headers, however the port alignment may need to be corrected (Hookers jig is obviously junk) By welding and grinding. If you don't check/repair the port alignment they'll leak even with the best header gaskets.

I ditched them for the TTI's. Much better fit and no leaks.

Hemi Jack did you notice any difference in performance going from the hookers to the TTIs? Arruzza really liked the performance of the Hookers. Thanks

I also switched over to 3" exhaust from 2 1/2" so I can't say the headers picked up for sure. Went from 12.0's to 11.80's through the mufflers. Could have just been track and weather conditions too.

IMO, Hooker headers quality went to the dogs many years ago, probably when they moved to Mexico. I have used many sets of Hookers through the years, but there is absolutely no comparison between them and the TTI's. Fit, finish and quality construction more than make up for a small power loss on a street/strip car.

The 5210 flange jig was fragged in the 70's and they never fixed it so their attitude started way before moving production.
