4woody OP member 4 Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 40 Santa Cruz, Ca	I'm doing an engine swap and trying to make a 383 fit in my '38 Chrysler frame. Is there a size (depth) difference between an HV Oil pump and a std pump? I've got an HV, but don't have a std one to measure. Tia

bobs66440 top fuel B Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 1,880 Out in Left Field, NY	I measured mine. 4-3/4" from mounting surface to top of round part where filter is (overall height) 2-3/4" from mounting surface to top of round part on body 2" from mounting surface to top of mounting bolts In other words, it's 1/4 - 3/8" shorter
