What should a correctly detailled sway bar and brackets look like on a 68 Dodge B Body? LA built car. Also what do you guys use to duplicate the yellowish color of cosmoline on lower control arms? I know just use cosmoline but this car will be driven.

I believe sway bar and brackets should be bare metal for correct factory appearance. Many paint them to create this appearance and prevent surface rust. Regarding the lower control arms, some are using battery terminal protectant spray.....it hardens like paint. I used a product from Eastwood called heavy duty anti rust.....its cosmoline in a spray can...I drive my car about 500/year and never had a problem with stuff sticking to them. This topic has been discussed ad nauseam....i am sure others will chime in

The terminal protectent looks great to me. Mines not an OE correct show car. Just want it to look good and mostly correct but driveable.

Does anyone know the Krylon number for this product? Want to get the correct color. I see they have different numbers for battery terminal spray
