wire wheel,blasting is all too much work for me
bad enough i put hrs upon hrs in scraping undercoating
the little harbor tumbler will work just fine
its only real draw back is its small barrel size
so you can only do a little bit at a time.
you just need to know the right media to use.
i use the green pryamids and a little purple degreaser with water and change the water out a few times as its going
then after that, i throw them in walnut shells for a day
they all look like new when done.
i have more then 6 cars worth of nuts and bolts
so i stepped up and bought one of these badboys off
amazon for 120 bucks

Those harbor freight tumblers are a joke imo. I have one and for all the noise and electricity it consumes. my shaker can method works just as well and costs me nothing besides some solvent every few months.

I use a vibrator from Eastwood with water and the green piramids. Works good and is better than wire wheeling. imo'

HotRod magazine did a story on them this month. Although there picture are not impressive to me.

Dish soap, lemon shine and water
With SS pins
I have used Thumblers for 30 years on my Pistol/Rifle brass and small bolts nuts with Crushed Walnut {Corn to polish}
You should see what Stainless pins do wow
