I bought a GV from a friend. I'm swapping it into the Charger tomorrow. He had a 4.56 gear and a 27" tire. I have the same height tire but my gears are 4.10. I looked on ebay but no speedometer gears are listed for this unit. The one it has is a 44 tooth, gray in color. It looks similar to the Mopar pinion, but not close enough to work. Does anyone know where else I might try besides Gear Vendors themselves?
I'll have to have the driveshaft modified on Monday, so it's not like I will be driving it tomorrow anyway. I just thought that having an alternative to get one might be nice. Thanks!

You need a speedometer gear for GM Turbo 400 transmission.

If you contact Gear Vendor, they will send you an owners manual, and actually talk to you about anything you need. Good customer service.

It is a GM speedo gear. and they will help you determine which one you need.

Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen! Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!
