How accurate is your fuel pressure gauge? If you can make it home by turning the pump off and on, then I would think the problem is with the fuel pressure. Maybe turn it down even lower then an indicated 5psi and see if it makes a difference.

i put a brand new guage on it and a new reg.so now i have a spare reg and guage.its a 1050 dom.on my other cars i run 7 1/2 to 8 lbs and they dont over flow.im gunna try turnin it down some more and see if i go lean at wot.i may try to richin it as a last resort my LM1 says its not lean.

Have you tried different gas in it? Maybe you got a bad batch of something???
