I would like to thank everyone for the help I got from here.
I had a Holley 750 on my 400 swapped over to a carter 600 from a member here. Night and day difference much better all the way around thanks

I'm going to say the 750 was to much. I thought it might have been but it was a leftover.
The trans shifts earlier and seems to start much better The off idle response is much better as well although the top end is a little weak no biggie especially as gas climbs up ward
