The longer bars have more leverage is what I've been told and they have more lift from the longer leverage. I would put the longest ones on the car that will fit nice, look closely at all the things needed and what they will hit or interfere with under the car before deciding My car is a street and strip car that I wanted to sit real low, just like a stock grandmas 6 cylinder cars do so I had mine installed with that in mind The chassis guy cut and installed narrow boxes into the floor so the back of the car could be lowered down and not hit the RJ 1/4 Max ladders in any position or ride height As far as the bottom bar and the angles you will need to find out what your car likes, not all of our cars are identicle, weight distribution, power, tire sizes and so on I have mine in the bottom hole on the front ladder bar mount cross member, it hooks very well, 1.43 60 ft. times and low tens at 134+ MPH with the mufflers on, pump gas, ET Street tires and motor only It will hook in a mud puddle in the middle of a rain storm It does work very well, you do need to work on both ends of the car to make it work the best it can

the angle of the bar is immaterial. The point that counts is where the front pivot sits in relation to the neutral line. That being said a average short wheel base car like a Duster seems to work well with a 32" bar that happens to be level to the ground. The more power the further below the neutral line the pivot needs to be. That can be accomplished by lowering the bar or making the bar longer. For what it's worth mine are 36" with 113" wheel base.
