His and Her 69's pro stock H Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 1,559 Oh	I will tell you if you DO the swap PUT IN THE PLATES to reinforce the floor. I have 2 cars that people installed buckets in place of the bench seat and BOTH car floors have cracks in them by the bolt holes. There isn't enough strength to the sheetmetal in that area for it NOT to crack. So you don't have to do it later PUT THEM IN NOW. Just my 2 cents. David

68427vette OP top fuel 6 Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 1,992 midwest	its for a A12 A4 RR, , so i guess we wont be drilling any holes,, i was hoping to just make it work, with out any additional holes,, but i guess i could modify the seat brackets.. well see, thanks for the info,, cool A4 platium Metallic RR well,, i still need a bench seat for this A12 also, , LOL

IIRC there were already dimples in my 69 RR floorpan when I added buckets and removed a bench. And yeah, the reinforcement plates were put there for a reason.
