a post last week was talking about using a gm transmisson and that the gearing might be a little better.

ultra bell only lists the th350 and 400 for their adapters. where do you get one for the th700?

I believe the turbo 350 and 700R4 share a lot of parts. But before you spend a lot of money you'd call the company, right?
I think you will find the 3.06 first gear of the 700R4. to be too low unless you are starting a large car or have a small engine. Call Art Carr and ask him about his favorite 4-speed automatic.

was just doing some research way in advance, while I was thinking about it.

who is art carr?

if I am lucky there will be cheaper options when I get to that point.

65 b with 5.9 mag in it.
