Andrewh OP master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,679	a post last week was talking about using a gm transmisson and that the gearing might be a little better. ultra bell only lists the th350 and 400 for their adapters. where do you get one for the th700?

I think you will find the 3.06 first gear of the 700R4. to be too low unless you are starting a large car or have a small engine. Call Art Carr and ask him about his favorite 4-speed automatic. R.
