I found a like new Thermoquad and want to try it on my 400 with Edelbrock Performer. Problem is, the throttle cable needs to be clamped in a much different place than with the Holley. See the pic. It's about 2 inches to the side and about 1 inch above where the existing throttle cable bracket is. Anything temporary I can rig up just to try this carb out?

The thermoquad used a different throttle cable bracket , you will have to put the cable in the clamp you have an make a link to extend the cable end to the carb or find the 72 up BB throttle bracket.
