doesnt look right to me. thats the voltage limiter right? well the two spade terminals going to the same rivit are tied together. they cant be both ground and +5v to the gages...

Im thinking the limiter grounds thru the mounting lug. and that what is left is 1 terminal for the +12v input and 2 terms for the +5v output. But I dont have my schematic in front of me. it could be just the opposite.

So what you labeled RESISTOR is the +12v in. and the GROUND and OUTPUT TO Gages is the OUTPUT TO the GAGES

I've got to swap the 3 way and the Resistor. That way the grounds going to the gauges are coming off of the single spade conector. Right?

There are no grounds to the gauges, only a pulsing (average 5 volt) power supply to them. The gauges and the limiter ground through their connections to the gauge cluster.

If you are using factory wiring, there should be no way to make a mistake wiring this up. You should have two female wire connections to connection to the common two spade male connection on the limiter and one male wiring connection to the female spade terminal on the limiter.

You should have

one 12 volt input to limiter
one 5 volt output from limiter - this is the three way wire connection that connects to the back of each gauge.
one connection to the condensor

I don't recall what goes where, but as I said, if you are using factory wire connections with the correct male or female ends, you can't wire it the wrong way. Good luck.
