Jeremiah OP master Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 9,100 Rogue River, OR	Hello, I am getting ready to collect all of the parts for a 1966 383 four barrel with A/C in a b-body and need pictures of anything you might have. Air cleaner, brackets, A/C compressor, etc. would be very helpful. I am going to attach a pic I found on google image search, but am not sure if it is showing the correct components. edit: Scratch the pic, it is a '67. One source that might be useful is a '66 FSM or look for reprint articles from car magazines back then. I'm not sure if the 383 Four Barrel cars had snorkel air cleaners in 66 or not. We are starting from scratch so any info is very helpful. NANKET master N Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 4,952 northwest USA	The 1966 383 4bbl had a small round air cleaner with no snorkles, simular to a 273 4bbl. The exhaust manifolds were log style, no HP exhaust on a 383 B-body until 1968. The engine brackets and pullies were the same on B and C bodies in that same models year. Major change in the engine brackets and pullies in 1969. The 1966 & 1967 B-body underhood air should be real close to the same if not the same, I'm not 100% sure on that, certainly others will correct this if wrong.

For the passenger's side I would guess that the bracket for the heater hoses (utilizing the tall A/C style sheet metal clip) and PCV grommet hole would be correct. On the driver's side the tube for the (black) painted breather would be the only thing preset. I'm sorry to be beating this to death, but with most of the board's attention on non-car related threads I'm still trying. To those of you helping me along, thank you again.
