Hey Guy's, I have a 71 340 that has the J-heads I ordered the wrong exhaust gaskets for the headers (Big Block) and was in a pinch and had to run to Parts America. They gave me some Fel-pros that looked pretty good, but I have noticed that the middle ports on the gasket are together, Insted of the middle being seperated on the gasket like the old ones I took off. Does this matter? I went ahead and installed them, they fit perfect, just wondering about the middle port holes being sealed only on the outside, not seperated by a ridge of gasket?

If your running stock heads the two middle exhaust ports are connected anyway so there is no performance penalty provide they don't leak.
