I'm sure this has beern covered, but I cant seem to find it...can someone send me location dimensions of the bumblebee stripe on a 70 charger? Specifically I'd like to have a dimension from the edge of the outer 3/8" pin stripe (towards rear of car) to the edge of the quarter extensions at the body line. I'd also like dims at the bottom of the quarter and possibly something on the trunk lid. A pic of the stripe with a tape measure would be even more helpful, but I'll take what I can get. The bodyshop is going to tape the stripe off tomorrow, thought they had it, now not so sure. Thanks for the help!
Brian

The trunklid is 3 inches from the edge of each corner to the edge of the first outline stripe. This is measured from me pushing the tape measure into the curve on each end of the trunklid. Center the sides to the marker light so it even on each side than follow it up to match the trunklilid. This measurement is taken off my original paint trunklid.

If you look at the drivers side the rear edge of the marker light is slightly hanging over the main stripe. The passenger side is opposite. I thought it is suppose to be centered. I actually have the factory papers on 70 stripe dimmensions for all cars. It is almost impossible to read from the way they measured. I will dig it out & post it.

Mine is painted on but we have compared it to many factory striped cars & it looks to be pretty close to how they were applied. However, I don't have dimensions or any other closer pictures of the stripe at this time.

You've got to remember - these were installed by hand and, truthfully, no 2 cars will be exactly alike.

You are exactly right. They slapped on a stripe & sent down the line.

I did my own. Wasn't to hard, I just followed the instructions. I centered mine on the marker lights, then did the truck. As mentioned I wouldn't go by any "measurement" I'd eyeball it and make sure it was centered on the marker lights 1st.
