i think 32-34 shared body panels and suicide doors---in 35 it got stretched out so only the 35-36 were the same with regular doors---bob

From what I've been told,32 thru mid/early 35 Dodge & Plymouth doors interchange,then late 35 thru 38 Dodge/Plymouth doors interchange.
I just got a 1937 Plymouth truck missing the doors, and have been keeping my eyes open/asking around, was informed by a guy I met that had a '37....please let me know if you know of any doors!

body lines are different---28-31 share the same lines with regular hinged doors----32-34 have the same body line with suicide doors---35-36 has its own body line with regular hinged doors----i have a 28 31 and 33 units at my house and a friend has 34 and 35 so i have some visual experience----if you have a 28,29,30,31,35,36 with suicide doors some one has customized it----bob

not to be picky, but 33,34, and EARLY 35 had suicide doors. i believe mopar ron can back me up on this statement. late 35 had regular doors, and the 36 was a diferent cab altogether. i have never seen a 32 with any resemblance to the cab of the 33-35, and this is also backed up with many factory brochures and copy adds i have seen through out the years. [ 1/4 thru 2 1/2 ton trucks, panel vans and sedan deliverys]. it is possible a VERY late [titled] 32 has the suicide doors you have seen, but i would almost bet it is a 33 model year. 28-32 and [late 35] 36-up have regular doors. this applies to the 1/4 thru 2 1/2 ton trucks i have been around for the last 35-40 years.

I agree 33 was the first year for suicide doors all 32 trucks had regular doors and the dodge book I have shows that in 1935 the smaller trucks 1/2 ton up to like 1 1/2 ton(maybe 2 ton) used regular doors but the larger trucks still has suicide doors.
I'm not sure on the early to late in the year thing
I am sure on the small truck to large truck.

you can mate the 33-34 small truck front end(and 33 car) on to a 36-38 cab and call it a 35.
36 cabs(and the 35 I believe) had a flatter top to the windshield and the 37-38 had a slighter ark to the top of the windshield. but other than the dash I believe the cab's are almost the same Ron...
